Welcome To The Sand Lake Garden Club!

The mission of the Sand Lake Garden Club is to learn and provide education about gardening, houseplants
and conservation; stimulate interests in gardening; improve the appearance of the community and to promote
a spirit of friendship and cooperation among members of the Club.

A message from Rose and Hollis of the trips committee:


 SLGC trip to The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Home and Garden

2 Plunkett Street, Lennox, MA 01240.

 

Trip is planned for Tuesday, June 4, 2024.  We will be meeting at 9:15 AM at the Sand Lake Library parking lot. 

The trip will include a 1 hour guided tour ($20/$18 Sr.) of the house. We will make an online reservation for 11 AM for the house tour.

For those interested in joining us, please send your cash or check, made out to Hollis McEvilly, 189 Garner Road, Averill Park, NY 12018 by Wednesday, May 22nd. 

Lunch at the Terrace Café, on site/your expense, after completion of our tour followed by visiting the surrounding gardens, at our leisure, before our journey home.
